Hello

Here's a little bit about myself

I’m an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo. My research explores how consumers construct value, identity, and symbolic meaning in digitally mediated and culturally embedded environments. I use behavioral methods—ranging from experiments to survey and panel data analysis—to study branding, consumer–AI interaction, and symbolic consumption.

My work bridges theory and practice. I’ve published in leading hospitality and wine marketing journals and collaborated on applied studies that improved brand engagement and online booking performance for hospitality firms. My goal is to develop research that advances marketing theory while helping brands design meaningful, culturally relevant experiences.
